Synopsis: Prison Flowers derives from Flavia Ribeiro de Castro’s experience as a volunteer, while performing humanitarian aid at the Santos Women’s Penitentiary in 2005. The film promotes encounters between the characters back in the now-abandoned prison premises, reliving onsite their experiences, reflecting on the importance of Flavia’s role and the influence it might have had on their present lives.
